3) Pipedream Promises – Many of these companies promise to “get rid of wrinkles” or “take 20 years off your face” and other unrealistic claims. Unfortunately for us, there is no way to 100% “get rid of wrinkles.” The Fountain of Youth hasn’t been discovered yet so all we can do is try our best to slow aging down and try to reverse the little bit that we can with enriching skincare products to keep our skin healthy.

Don’t use hot water — it removes the natural oils from your face faster. Try exfoliating once a week to get rid of flaky skin cells. It will make your skin look clearer and more even.  
The anti-aging market is bigger now than it has ever been, so it can be hard to find good products even when you know what to look for. I use Cetaphil wash and it has really been a great help with my acne. it cleans your skin thoroughly while still being gentle. i would recommend using this with a cleansing brush (clarisonic, luna, spin brush etc) and following with a toner preferably one with witch hazel. these combination of things has worked wonders for my skin. 3 months down the line the improvement has been fantastic.
