“It’s never necessary to stick to a specific skin-care regimen every a.m. and p.m., but you see most consistent results if you follow a regimen with products regularly,” Dr. Patricia Wexler of New York City’s Wexler Dermatology told StyleCaster.com.
In the days before your period, swapping out your regular cleanser for one with antibacterial benzoyl peroxide (BP) like the Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser can keep zits from cropping up, says Robert Anolik, a dermatologist in New York City. There are two big guns used to take down acne, and they’re both great at doing entirely different things. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid that comes from willow bark and works primarily as an exfoliator, breaking down fatty acids like sebum so your pores don’t clog. (Glycolic acid works similarly, but is less effective.) These acids do their thing on comedones — whiteheads, blackheads, and other non-red bumps.
To give dry skin healthy, natural oil, Dr. Shamban recommends a weekly 15-minute mask of mashed avocado. Or once a week massage a tablespoon of olive oil into your face in lieu of your usual night cream—but skip it if you’re acne-prone.

Pack For Glowing Skin: Milk can be used along with ground almonds and olive oil, and applied as a face pack for instantly glowing skin. Prepare a paste by adding milk to about 1 tbsp ground almonds and 1 tsp crushed orange peel. Add about 2 to 3 drops of olive oil to this mixture. Apply this mixture and allow it to dry for about 20 minutes. Wash off and follow with an ice cube rub for awesomely glowing skin.
Apply toner after your cleanser. Toner should be applied once you have dried your face after cleansing. Pump a small amount of toner onto a cotton pad, and simply wipe over your face. Avoid the eye area. Let the toner dry on your skin. You do not need to rinse off.

Same here man. I tried Proactiv, Clean and Clear, everything I found at Wallgreens and Walmart. What I found to help is standard benzoyl peroxide and a pill called Wipeout. I bought it at the stopacnefast website. Instead of shrinking the glands like Accutane, it stops oil production, stopping the acne. Stuff works wonders.
Wash your face with a natural, organic cleanser. Natural cleansers can be found at a health food store or in many chain drugstores. Look for a cleanser with a glycerin or castille soap base that cleans without stripping the skin’s protective acid mantle. Other ingredients that are soothing and cleansing include essential oils, coconut, aloe vera, chamomile and oats.
