Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are usually derived from fruits (like apples and oranges) or sugars. They are exfoliation powerhouses, and multiple studies have demonstrated their effectiveness in improving the look of aging skin.
It is a specialized anti-acne cleanser. So, if you only have occasional blackheads or whiteheads here and there, and you’re primarily after keeping your skin clean and clear, this product might be an overkill for your condition.

Scent-Free Moisturizer: When it comes to choosing a moisturizer, make sure to find one that doesn’t contain synthetic fragrances, which can cause irritation and allergic reactions. Avoid alcohol and synthetic dyes, as well, if your skin gets irritated easily. We love Simple’s Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15 ($10).
Once a week, slather your hands and feet with a thick lotion and cover in plastic wrap for about a half-hour—then strip it away to check out the soft results. If blackheads are the bane of your existence, it’s likely because of enlarged pores. Get the gunk out and shrink ’em with the proven power of baking soda, which is known to dry out any greasy spots.
